The CCA Andratx was founded in 2001, when the Danish gallery owners Jacob & Patricia Asbaek decided to create a contemporary art and culture center dedicated to presenting the most innovative international art and the most talented emerging artists in Mallorca. Following the traditional Mallorcan architecture, the 4,000 square meter exhibition space of the CCA Andratx combines art and nature. The building is perfectly integrated into the natural landscape of its surroundings and offers large white and bright spaces that open onto the courtyard of the cloister.

While the CCA Kunsthalle hosts major curated exhibitions three times a year, the CCA Gallery hosts a selection of artists from around the world and particularly those who have resided at the CCA Studios. The CCA Espai, for its part, is the space dedicated to emerging artists residing on the island of Mallorca. The CCA also offers an Artist Residency program, from which more than 500 artists from 20 different countries have already benefited.
